Hello Fellow Kidless Folks!

Sunit, Jim, Dominic and Angela joined me for what turned out to be a really nice hike through the La Jolla Canyon and Valley on Sunday!

Although that was FAR fewer than those who had expressed interest, it was the perfect number for hiking. We didn't overwhelm the HUGE group of tourists from Japan who took over all the picnic tables and found my "No Kidding!" sign quite amusing. (As I found their funky fashion-forward brightly colored hiking gear!)

Everyone hung in there through the ascent and we were rewarded with gorgeous views of the valley. The ocean breeze kept us (relatively) cool on the way up and the trail back was nice and shady. Even the poison oak managed to stay out of our way, for the most part.

Keep an eye out for our next event - I won't name names, but somebody on the hike should be posting one soon!
